Everyone knows the problems to communicate in real time with friends and family from far.

The Internet messengers give us a possibility to speak and write in real time, but not to listen to music or to watch movies together, for example. A lot of software companies and web sites are selling this service, but why to pay money if you can use for free similar services that are good enough?

There are two known to me ways to do this – using suitable Internet site or using suitable application installed on your computer.

To use suitable Internet site for sound and video sharing in real time is simple. There is no need to install some special applications, quality is good enough (but not excellent) and it doesn’t matter which operating system runs on your computer. All you need in addition is to know internet links to some suitable internet sites and to have some basic skills to use internet browser and your computer, tablet or phone of course. So, this way is suitable for everyone.

For Window’s personal computer owners it is possible to use suitable communication free software installed on the computer and the quality is excellent! To achieve this using NewTek NDI tools for example, at the beginning you need to download the tools. Then you have to do initial installation and adjustments of these tools. You need to have installed Skype application and adjust it too. After that you can send to your friends your computer desktop and system sounds for free just with a few simple mouse clicks. There are similar Newtek NDI tools for MAC too, but I’ll be concentrated to explain how to use these free tools for Windows PC only.

In the final posts of this topic I will explain in details how to achieve excellent quality in real time online audio and video sharing, using some free applications installed on your Microsoft Window’s personal computer.

Some people cannot understand why someone wants to watch video online with friends in real time, what benefit they can receive from it. Or it is for professional use perhaps… That’s why I’m going to try to explain.

Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to get everyone in the same room together to watch a video. But you can use free internet services to watch together online and in real time. To do this with colleagues and business partners is for professional use of course. Teacher and students can look and talk about a video online and in real time. Production team can talk about how to shoot or to cut a video. There are much more examples…

But what do you think about another examples, about examples from our personal life? What’s about when grandparents and parents live in different places? And if they look at grandchild video online in real time to discuss and enjoy it? Or to listen to music together in real time with a friend who lives in another city? This would really improve the quality of long-distance relationships.

Is it possible to communicate online in a satisfactory way when your family or friends are away from you for a long time? Is it possible our experience to be similar to listening together in the same room? Is the same goes for watching a movie with a far living friend? Yes, it is! And definitely why to watch YouTube, for example, all by your lonesome? You have a possibility to create a virtual party and watch and listen to music videos with far-flung friends.

There are a number of free internet services that allow you to enjoy your favorite video content online in sync, no matter where you are. And these services are extremely useful for people in a long-distance relationship, moved away from home or if you want to stay connected with friends around the globe. Movies provide an excellent opportunity for discussion. Watching a movie together can enhance your relationships. If you only send a movies or music files to your chum or next of kin, it is not similar to watching and listening together isn’t it? Of course, you even cannot discuss the movie together and you cannot share your emotions in real time. But in our real lives we enjoy to do all of this.

So, my goal is to explain in this topic how you can improve the quality of online communications with your friends or family. I do not want to write here about professional application of these possibilities. I just do it to show you the ways to enjoy more in your online communications.

I know very well the difficulties of communicating online in a satisfactory way when your family or friends are away from you for a long time. It is normal to want to listen to music together or to watch a movie with a far living chum, isn’t it?

My first attempt to find the right way to listen in sync to the music playing on my computer with my online friend ended up being unsuccessful. Everywhere in internet the companies offer software for a fee or a lot of heavy and unsuitable software to install. This has become a good reason for me to help others by sharing my information where and how to find similar suitable communication software for free.
